Liuteria Coppola is currently the leading violin-making workshop in Lecce.
I follow the centuries-old art of violin making with passion, thoroughness and patience, I deal in stringed musical instruments: ancient, modern, classical traditional and folk instruments. I provide services on stringed instruments (also cracking, restoration and repair on bows), plucked and plectrum instruments (including acoustic and electric guitars and grinding and refretting).

Old and new is restored or comes to life under the caring hands driven by: passion, pursuit of quality, attention to detail; defects are transformed into special decorations, and everything comes back or starts to live.
LABORATORY AND MEETING PLACE
Old and new coexist, meet and merge also in the machining techniques, which are carried out with hand and power tools that in some cases guarantee greater speed and precision.
The decorative details, unique to each instrument and therefore deeply identifying, such as the rosettes, are made entirely by hand.
In keeping with the violin-making tradition, Liuteria Coppola obviously uses raw materials of the highest quality both in construction and in restoration and repair, which does not only concern woods, but also glues, varnishes, hardware, in short, everything required to work on musical instruments.
Liuteria Coppola, in addition to being a workshop, is a place for cultivating the art of sound, a space for discussion, workshops and sharing experiences with lovers of the sector and insiders who enrich the growth, preserve and promote this ancient and increasingly rare art.
